Club Rules and Etiquette
- Respect fellow riders.
- Be courteous to drivers, pedestrians, and fellow cyclists.
- Be prompt for the start of the ride.
- Stay hydrated and properly fuel before and during the ride to avoid "bonking."
- Leave no cyclist behind unless they're stopping for the perfect Instagram shot.
- Wear your club shirt (and bib shorts) on rides to represent the club proudly.
- Yes, we take safety seriously, but remember to enjoy the ride, share laughs, and have a "wheelie" good time!
- Saturday group rides are NO DROP RIDES. The pace is steady, and riders should not yo-yo. Faster riders are welcome to leave the main group to maintain the group’s pace.
- Keep your wheels steady and avoid sudden moves. Drafting is allowed, but drifting is not—stick close but safely spaced.
- We take pride in our “no-drop” policy, BUT we encourage participants to have a reasonable level of fitness and confidence to enjoy the group rides comfortably.
- Non-members are welcome but must follow club rules. Disruptive non-members will be asked to leave.
- Helmets are mandatory on all rides. Safety comes first—your helmet is your crowning glory!
- Front and rear lights are a necessity for visibility and safety.
- Use hand signals and call out obstacles, potholes, and any changes like standing up on the bike.
- Keep in the yellow lane at all times to ensure safety on the road.
- On busy roads or narrow paths, switch to single file to allow safe passing.
